A vertical improvisation of color, texture and contradiction, Afternoon Light is a floor lamp that reads like a sketch in space. A salvaged palm leaf hangs from a waxy, blood-red ribbon of plastic, twisted and scorched. Light emerges from within, not just as function but as witness. The piece is built entirely from re-used plastics and studio leftovers, material ghosts melted and reassembled into something strange and vital. A blue lamp holder, a pink cord, a rusted steel rod. The structure balances on itself, fragile and fearless.
